Lisa Monaco's response to the petition to pardon Edward Snowden was inadequate and ignored the international debate going on.
Her call for him to come to the US to be judged ignores the reason why he's in exile: every person who tried to "engage in a constructive act of protest" before him was defamed, harassed, and silenced. The "robust debate" doesn't work if you put ex post facto charges on people on the other side, as has happened. It doesn't work if you do not address our side of the argument while continuing to try and silence critics.
Since Lisa's ideas of security and civil liberties are so out of line from the people, we ask that she be removed from her position in government.
