Fire Michael Huerta because a 5% budget cut to the FAA forced him to impact 40% of flights. At best he's incompetent.

Anyone who runs a business should realize that a 5% budget reduction should not impact 40% of your customers. This is what Michael Huerta is trying to get us to believe. Either he really can't handle reducing 5% of his budget without impacting the most vital piece of its service to the american people, air traffic control (which considering waste in bureaucracies, is highly suspect), or he is making a political statement far beyond the trappings of his office.

Either way, leaving Michael Huerta in control of an organization meant to protect the organization and safety of air travel is at best, negligent.
