Robert A. McDonald has failed as the Secretary of Veterans Affairs. Despite holding the office for nearly two years, McDonald has made no significant change to the VA's ability to fulfill it's sole function: caring for America's sick and wounded veterans. Additionally, McDonald has lied about his service. In February of 2015, he told a veteran he "served in Special Forces," which was a blatant lie. Most recently, he liked the agonizingly long wait times Veterans endure for care, to the line for a ride at Disneyland, apparently oblivious of the fact that Vets have died waiting on care. McDonald believes the VA should be able to fire employees who don't perform, and replace them. Mr. President: start at the top. Fire McDonald and replace him with a proven leader - Gen James Mattis.
