Robin Paul is one of the dept heads of the Seamless Transition Clinic at the Indy VA hospital. A couple of months ago, she sent a very offensive and demeaning email about Veterans who are undergoing mental health treatment. The Indianapolis Star ran a story in their paper about it. It is also on their website. They contacted the Public Affairs Officer at the VA hospital who revealed that the issue was known to hospital execs a couple of months ago but declined to say how it was handled citing "employee confidentiality". Why would Ms Paul deserve confidentiality for sending such an email? Why did hospital execs allow her to keep her job as a dept head over mental health for Veterans. Our Veterans deserve better.
