Jan Psaki said that Israel can do far more to protect civilians in Gaza than it has done to date. In addition to warning civilians to evacuate before targeting a specific area, Israel has refrained from targeting Hamas terrorists who deliberately launch rockets at Israel’s civilian population while hiding amongst the civilians of Gaza. Israel would certainly welcome any advice on how to further reduce civilian casualties but no suggestions were offered.
According to Palestinian sources 198 civilians were killed in 10 days. There were 66,081 civilian casualties in Iraq in 6 years of war, or 300 every 10 days. Gaza’s population density is 60 times that of Iraq. Yet, Israel’s rate of civilian casualties is at least 33% better than the US fared in Iraq. Jan Psaki is either dumb or anti-Semitic
