Ban all military style firearms. Enforce strict background checks and one month wait periods for all firearms sales. Enforce firearm safety training for all firearm owners annually. Enforce firearm-owner paid psychological/mental health evaluations annually. Enforce firearm magazine capacities to 5 rounds or fewer. Enforce 100 round maximum possession, per firearm. Enforce national annual firearm registration and tax. Enforce safe firearm storage.
I am a gun owner and served in the military overseas. I have had extensive firearms training and have experienced first hand the damage they can do, both when improperly handled and when intentionally used against other people. Firearm owners need to understand the capabilities of firearms and have proper training. We register cars, why not guns
