While, the political motivations behind the distribution of anti-Semitic flyers requiring Ukrainian Jewish persons to register with the State has not been determined; and
While, neither the authorship nor authenticity of the leaflets has been verified; yet
Whereas, it is a clear violation of the human rights and personal liberties of a people group to be forced to register their familial status and ownership of property within the context of religious affiliation for the purpose of intimidation,
We urge the President of the United States to publicly speak out against these leaflets, demand an inquiry into their authorship, and, should it be ascertained that the People's Republic of Donetsk is responsible, impose appropriate sanctions to prevent further anti-Semitic infractions.
