First Strike, you're out! Too often parents abuse their right as parents and children experience repeat maltreatment.

Created by J.H. on November 12, 2014

Too many children in our country are left to the hands of parents who abuse their rights as parents. The efforts of the child protective services system have not been successful in preventing subsequent victimization due too current laws in which parents are given chance after chance. This is at the child's expense! This law would prevent reoccurring acts of neglect and abuse..one strike you're out! Every child deserves the right to grow in a loving, healthy environment. According to data from the National Child Abuse and Neglect Data System, 49 states reported a total of 1,593 fatalities in 2012. Based on these data, a nationally estimated 1,640 children died from child abuse and or neglect in 2012. We have got to be the voice for these children!! One strike and you're out!
