FISA judicial review provision for third parties regarding Section 1861 orders

Created by B.C. on August 12, 2015

This Petition regards access to certain business records for foreign intelligence and international terrorism investigations (United States Code 50 § 1861).

Code 1861 authorizes the collection of bulk telephony data.

United States District Judge Richard J. Leon notes in Klayman v. Obama that the United States Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court does not contain a judicial review provision for third parties regarding Section 1861 orders.

The people petition President Obama and Congressional Representatives to enact third party review provisions for the United States Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court.
