We the undersigned beg you to hold the line with House Republicans. Don't be fooled by their new-found willingness to "work with the President."
We'd gladly endure a bit of a tax hike ourselves, if it means the 1% start paying their fair share and the bloated military-industrial complex gets a little of the squeeze the rest of the country has been subjected to for the past 4+ years.
We gladly suffer a small tax hike, if it means we can say NO to the hostage-taking Republican Senate minority and House majority. It's time to use their tactics against them: they refused to compromise on anything; it's time we refused to compromise. We can afford not to.
President Obama, please please please, don't give an inch on taxing the 1% or cutting the military budget. It's time to stand firm.
