Fiscal Cliff Negotiations Must Require Bush Tax Cuts to Expire for the Top 2% & No Cuts to Soc Sec, Medicare & Medicaid.

Created by D.J. on December 05, 2012

We must stand firm on 'Fiscal Cliff' negotiations. The Bush Tax Cuts must expire for the top 2% income bracket. A large majority of the American People want this.

A strong majority of the American People also support no reductions in benefits for Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. This includes no increase in eligibility age or any tactic that reduces benefits. Social Security can be strengthened by increasing the income deduction cap. Medicare and Medicaid can be strengthened by allowing negotiation of best price for drugs and services and stronger monitoring and enforcement against waste and fraud.

If these can not be agreed to we should accept going over the 'fiscal curb' and introduce new focused legislation in the new term that will benefit 98% of the American People.
