The Fiscal reasons behind Bi-Weekly pay have all, but been eliminated. Federal Employees are now responsible for our own time and attendance. The clerical procedure is now digital with WebTA and wastes no resources or executive labor. Struggling to maintain funds for availability and resources are becoming ever more difficult. The burden by banks and utilities that take more and more time to withdraw funds at an unregulated pace, leads to more of a financial burden with a 13-day gap between funds.
I feel the hardworking, dedicated employees that serve this nation and its people could benefit by this. We have endured pay cuts, no raises, and an ever-increasing indebtedness to our retirement and healthcare. Weekly pay would serve our lives and sanity.
