In order to protect the first amendment rights for all US citizens, fiscal punitive action should be taken against any citizen or entity under US jurisdiction seeking to limit, suspend, or remove those liberties by way of, but not limited to, petitions to deport or remove citizenship from US citizens signing any petition for secession from the United States.
Since the persecuted citizens are still part of the United States at the time they petition their wish to secede, their freedom of expression should be protected. To ensure that rights for all US citizens are not taken, infringing parties should have their federal taxes doubled or their entitlements halved for no less than one year, whichever has the greater economic impact.
