We the people of the FIU community would be honored to have Vice President Joe Biden visit our campus to speak about the It’s On US campaign, an initiative that truly makes our campus a safer environment for all. President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden spearheaded the inception of It’s on Us in order to bring awareness “to the epidemic of sexual violence on campuses.” FIU’s Student Government Association takes part in the 6 week institution – wide programs and services to educate our students and university community on how we can all contribute to the end of sexual violence. It is because of leaders like Joe Biden and the hard work of communities dedicated to positive change that our country continues to prosper and move in a direction for the benefit of all.
