WASHINGTON — The federal website where consumers can sign up for medical coverage under President Obama’s health care law unexpectedly stopped taking applications for several hours early Monday, the last day of open enrollment, because of a software problem, the administration said.
If Obama wants to polish his legacy, he'll put together a task force to rationalize Federal IT (including the DoD, FBI, IRS, VA and HHS) and spend the next two years firing and hiring to get it done. The IT can then be given to states and municipalities gratis. It would have a huge positive impact on the cost of government and its interactions with citizens.
