Fix Broken Social Security Disability System!

There are people being denied Social Security Disability who are clearly disabled. It takes 2 1/2 years just to get a hearing for SSD. People are often denied and must fight for years to get disability even though they are clearly disabled. If someone is denied during their hearing then they are forced to file an appeal. People are losing their homes, going without need medications, going without food, etc. No one that has worked their entire life and then becomes disabled should be denied disability and lose everything. We need to fix the broken Social Security Disability System. The head of the Social Security Administration Carol Colvin refuses to fix the system. So we need to demand that Congress fix what they broke in the first place by shutting down the government in Oct 2013.
