Fix child support laws and tax write offs to make it fair to both parties involved

Created by R.P. on November 26, 2012

The current system in which child support is based on is not a very honest system. The current system that is in place not only on a lower income (even middle class) individual who is paying the child support ends up with hardly even enough money to pay for gas to get to work. Using a percentage based amount based on income is unfair. It is saying that one child's needs is more than another because someone makes more money it should be a universal amount and dependent on age and cost. also there is no tax relief for someone paying this at all. There should also be a way for people receiving support to provide substantial proof of the child's expenses to warrant such support.
