fix the conflict of interest that the ratings agencies of wall street have before dealing with fannie and freddie

Created by J.K. on March 27, 2014

Fannie and Freddie are one of the few companies that TARP made a profit on and they are being eliminated before fixing a problem that everyone knows about but is to hard to fix. The problem of the conflict of interest the ratings agencies have with the financial solution. Without a triple A rating the mortgages could not have been insured. If they couldn't have been insured then they couldn't have been sold. If you couldn't get rid of the bad investments then you wouldn't make more bad investments. A big part of the crisis was the conflict of interests by the credit rating agencies.
