Congress should have term limitations like any other elected position in government. Our congress current term limits are as follows:
United States Senate: Unlimited 6-year terms
U.S. House of Representatives: Unlimited 2-year terms
We should limit the number of terms that members of congress can serve to 2, and limit their term duration to 4 years. Once that is established, anyone over the 8 year time limit will be relieved of their position and replaced by an elected official to begin the new term limits.
There is no greater need than this for America’s future. Congress has become a place for corrupt manipulative self-serving politicians. The government serves us, the people. We have the right to demand that this be put into effect. Please sign this petition for the good of us all.
