The U.S. does not have the worst tax code in the world. That should be small consolation. Our tax code is abysmal, an embarrassment, and an impediment to our citizenry, our governance, and our economy. Each year we waste billions of dollars and billions of hours unnecessarily and our tax code invites patronage of our elected officials by corporations and special interest groups..
Replace the current tax code and income tax with a retail sales tax like the FairTax proposal, and unshackle the American people and our economy from the current code.
