Fix the economy by placing a time clock in the chambers of congress.

Created by M.V. on November 14, 2012

By having the law makers of the nation work at a living wage of $13.00 an hour for one year, the nation could save enough money to make a substantial payment on the debt we owe. Not only would it be a wake up call to the rich but it would bring us closer to a balanced budget. Try it for a year with all federally elected officials being paid $13.00 an hour and watch how easily the budget can be balanced.

Make them pay taxes on it too so they can really see what most people consider a good paying job looks like. When someone makes about $350 a day, they are too out of touch with the people they represent. One year of it and things will change.
