We have a fiscal responsibility to the generations to come.
1. Cut spending by X [20 or 30%] amount. Once there isn’t any debt, budgets can only grow at a rate tied to X factor.
2. Raise taxes BUT put a time limit on – 5 years. After 5 years everyone is at a X [5-6%] tax on all income. Inherited income is NOT taxed it already was.
3. Pass a law that requires a federal balanced budget.
4. Pass a law that if a budget isn’t passed that ALL federal elected representatives and the president’s pay is held until such time as a budget is passed.
5. STOP playing groups against each other. It only tears our great country down. We are all in this together.
