Change the first line of the 14th amendment to the constitution, to read as follows: All persons born of legal U.S. residents or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.
Babies born to illegal immigrants should not be granted citizenship or given any rights of a citizen. The government has let this problem go on for too long, negatively impacting the lives of citizens and burdening tax payers with the costs of illegal immigration.
