Fix the income inequity between congress and eletorate

Congressional pay should be limited to no more then the average income of the people they are elected to represent.
Meaning a senator would draw a salary based on the average salary in his or her state.
A house member could make no more then the median income of his or her district.
Our current congress is out of touch with the general population! It is simply impossible to write, sponsor or vote for legislation that affects constituants, when your salary and life subsquent life style is far greater then the people you represent.
In short make congress live like we do, so they will vote in our best interest, not corporate donor interest.
And remove their ability to vote themselves a raise too.
