Medicare insists that we pay large lump sums that would leave us financially insolvent. they will not allow us to divide the payment into smaller payments over several months. we have handed it over to the Kidney Foundation yet after 2 months it still hasn't been dealt with. I just called Blue Cross, Blue Shield regarding medications, only to find out that, without notice, I've been dropped. It should be criminal that they've done this.I am a dialysis patient with chronic high blood pressure, I was so frustrated and angry that I didn't stick around to find why they didn't send my husband's insulin. that is criminal. this is after 2 years constant battle with our insurance companies. health insurance MUST be fixed.
