Recent disasters,such as the school shootings in Connectict, spark lots of anti-gun petitions. However, in this case, the shooter had mental health issues which were not addressed as well as they could be in the USA. The burden can not be placed on families, especially with cost and the need for expertise in determining appropriate care. In addition, it should be user-friendly system to put dangerous loved-ones away, when needed. It is difficult to commit loved-ones who are dangerous, make it easier and quicker to avoid all these shootings.
