Our congress is causing further divide in our nation. Where Republicans and Democrats have different Ideas and values we must re-learn working together. I propose a constitutional amendment. Congress pay can not exceed 2 times that of the median household income for our nation. If Congress can not balance the budget on time then none of them can be eligible for re-election. Any and all laws passed by congress must be followed by congress. Congress must be held to same standards the American public so they are no longer eligible for pensions and must rely on Social Security and Health Care laws they impose on the rest of us. Congress is supposed to work for the people they represent and currently they are not doing this.
