America is suffering from obesity. The numbers are overwhelming and the Obama Administration has noticed this. They have tried to fix this by changing school lunch policies and rid our schools of sugary, fattening foods. This, I believe IS a step in the right direction. Even with this improvements, it has not come without consequences. At my school, they have not allowed us to have bread, let alone BUTTERED bread. Nor have they allowed us to have BBQ sauce and many other things. We are charged $2.20 for a lunch and .45c for milk. When I entered school, they charged $1.60 for a lunch and .30c for lunch. We are paying more for less food and less quality. If you can not give us better food, then at least charge us for what we get.
