To fix the salaries of all members of congress, senate, and supreme court at the median income of the United States.

The income of all Senators, Congressman and women and all the Justices of the Supreme Court should be locked at the median income of the United States citizenry. Greater scrutiny needs to be placed upon the amount our public servants are paid and greater incentive needs to be placed upon those servants to follow through on many of the promises they make while on the campaign trail. They should be provided with housing, and medical care at the same rate as the average American citizen. Our tax dollars should not pay for a small group of men and women to live lavishly while most of our nation is suffering from a perpetual economic downturn. If they want more money then they should help improve the economy, not simply right themselves a bill for a raise.
