Fix The Tax System

We need to overhaul the tax code.
The current tax code is full of loopholes and special-interest clauses. If you could sit down and actually read it (and understand it), then you could probably find enough loopholes and clauses to justify you not paying any taxes for the rest of your life.
Here's my idea: Fire most IRS people. With the updated code, they won't be needed anyway, and this will help our nation's debt crisis.
Here's the updated code. Clearly readable and clearly understandable:
"The government will impose a national tax of 10% upon any transaction"
Yes. a flat tax. On everything. This may turn you away at first, but think about it. The current system requires offices and buildings full of people just to try and understand how much they should tax us.It should be thrown away.
