Theyre has been several major changes to the FMCSA rule book which include many unsafe and highly unpopluar new rules such as the new requirements on 34 hour restarts mainly only once per 160 hours and two 1am to 5am congruent periods, the 30 minute break rule and the long standing issue of how to take a proper split break. These issues need a voice of elected truck drivers, company repersentatives and then non industry experts not the other way around.
