Please fix the Department of Veterans Affairs! Today's testimony by whistle-blower Steven Coughlin was just the tip of the iceberg for problems within the VA system. From ethical lapses and mismanagement at the top to misappropriation and neglect at the bottom. There needs to be massive reform. Please fix the Department that is supposed to take care of the citizens who volunteered to protect and defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. You could fire everyone there now, and adopt a veterans only hiring policy that would kill two birds with one stone by lowering Veteran unemployment. I honestly don't care what you do - as long as the VA stops being a punchline, and starts honoring the people they were created to serve.
