Fix the UX on this site. I signed up, was never asked to set a password, then had to "reset" it in order for it to work.

It was too complicated to sign up for this site. When I signed up, I was not asked to set a password. I was asked to click a link from an email. I did, and again, was never asked to set a password. When I tried to login, I had to reset it, and jump through more hoops.

A one minute transaction took me five. Awful.
