The VA has been a disaster for FAR TOO LONG. The problem is way to many NON veterans in positions that affect veterans. I believe ALL VA employess should be VETERANS. Non veterans have NO frame of reference to vet's problems. Who better to help veterans with medical issues than OTHER VETERANS? There also needs to be harsher punishments(being fired) for employees whose negligence negatively impacts veterans. Especially when it causes vets to die waiting for care like in Phoenix. GET VETS WORKING IN THE VA AND GET RID OF THE CIVILIANS THAT DON'T CARE ABOUT US ANYWAY.
