Veterans affairs is ridiculously back logged and causing Veterans extreme stress when attempting to handle the system. The backlog of a year or more for claims and the complete lack of proper handling of requests such as loosing paperwork restarting claims and placing the onus on the Veterans is to much. Many veterans use the Veterans health care for treatment for injuries and are turned away for many reasons to include but not limited to lack of ability to handle more patients, the requirement for veterans to research all there medical paperwork when the majority of care was conducted by the VA. This system is antiquated and ridiculous, a nation is judge by how it treats its Veterans and this system is atrocious.
