Fix Veterans Benefits - Allow Tuition Assistance and the GI Bill to be used!

Created by S.B. on December 04, 2014

The Department of Defense (DOD) just gutted out veterans benefits. We were getting $250/credit hour up to 16 credit hours or $4000 whichever is less. This doesn't even begin to cover the cost of school. We were also able to use our G.I. Bill which is $333/month for a max of 36 months. This was changed so that we cannot use the G.I. Bill and TA at the same time. We were told that the military would help us pay for school... now I'm still required to give them everything, while they take away the little bit of help that I joined for. This is money that I was using to help pay rent, utilities, food and other expenses. As you can imagine no one is getting rich off of $333/month and help partially paying for tuition.

Let us use our benefits! We should be able to use TA AND the GI BILL!
