Correct the WRONG Fact in HISTORY textbook

Created by E.L. on August 17, 2015

We believe the Obama Administration should fix a wrong history fact in High School World History textbook.
First printing press was invented by Korean inventors but NOT by Johannes Gutenberg.

According to higschool world history textbook , first printing press was invented by German(Johannes Gutenberg) , and the first book ever printed was Latin Bible in 1455.
However, Korean inventors had been producing printed books for centuries before Gutenberg was born. In 1377 the first printing press was invented in Goryeo Dynasty in Korea, which were used to print Jikjishimcheyojeol, simply Jikji. UNESCO confirmed Jikji as the world's oldest metalloid type in September 2001.

It is certainly true that Gutenberg made it a commercially available device. As a technology, we can't say he INVENTED.
