Flag day should be a National Holiday

Flag day which is June 14th is the adoption of our flag in 1777. The US army also celebrates that day as its birthday. This day should be more than just an observance of our flag. It should be a National Holiday. Think about it... Our national anthem is about our flag. Our flag is different than any other flag. It changes and grows with our country. It is a symbol of who we are. When you think of the moon landing you think of the flag placed there. When you think of the civil war there were two flags representing our country. When you think of Sept 11 you always picture the symbol of America, the flag. The flag is us and we are the flag. It should get the proper recognition. A day that the nation stops and reflects what our founding fathers created in 1777, The USA.
