Flags at half-staff until we get common sense gun laws.

We need to send a strong message of respect honoring our fallen citizens. Every day many are killed by gun violence, both young and old. Instead of lowering the US flag to half-staff for a couple days when a large shooting occurs, let us keep the flags down until the violence is meaningfully addressed. We then honor the spent lives of all Americans cut down by gun violence. I believe the President can by executive order have the flag flown at half-staff on all government buildings going forward until common sense gun laws are enacted. This as a message of respect and a visual reminder that we need to stop the violence.
