Our nations flag has been flown at half staff for those who made music and other things, but for those who defend freedom it is not. My petition is to have our flag flown at half staff when a military member is killed in action defending our freedoms. I have read statements from Americans who are upset that we fly the flag at half staff for those who have never defended our nation and neglect those who have given the ultimate sacrifice. I am asking for America to show that it mourns and cares for those who are willing to stand on the battle field for all American people.
