There are to many politics and those who describe themselves as leaders who have failed to address gun violence in our country. To better help those in denial about this gun problem we ask that the US flag be flown at Half Mast for every mass shooting that occurs, going forward. In 2015 there were 355 mass shootings reported, this should of resulted in the flying the flag at Half Mast for an entire year.
We can only hope the shock of seeing our great flag flying so low for so long will finally motivate those who fight against sensible regulations.
This petition is not for retroactive recognition of older mass shootings but is for new incidents. Those who have already died deserve to be recognized and is a matter for another petition.
