Focus on the divided families issue for Korean-Americans when President Park visits this upcoming week

Created by P.L. on October 10, 2015

Divided Families USA's mission is to advocate for a mechanism allowing reunions between Korean Americans and their family members in North Korea, separated over 60 years ago during the Korean War (1950–53).

We have a definite goal, to have the US government facilitate reunions for Korean-Americans who are in their late years of life. 13 of these folks die per day, without ever having connected with their siblings, parents.

By signing the petition, we are coming together to ask President Obama to discuss the divided families issue with South Korea's President Park when she visits this upcoming week. This issue is overwhelmingly time-sensitive. We must address this while we can as a unanimous community.
