Focus federal student aid to grant funding first to U.S citizen college students .

The U.S currently suffers a shortage of: doctors, nurses, engineers and others with advanced scientific degrees. This is because U.S universities currently fill seats in these programs with foreign born students.Upon graduation most of these students return to their countries of origin. We would like the Obama administration to instruct universities to grant spots in these competitive programs to U.S citizens first. Only after they have placed all qualified US students should foreign students be offered seats. We would also like the administration to instruct the Dept. of Education to provide grant funding and low interest loans to U.S citizens first before offering similar aid to foreign born students. This measure would help decrease U.S student loan debt.
