It is the law abiding citizens, that give this country the right to bare arms. However, Recent Mass shootings have put siege on the second amendment. Although, it should be required, but not limited to a gun safety class or other form of gun certification, gun owners must be stressed on the importance of keeping firearms hidden from those considered "mentally unstable." and other people in the building.
A 2011 trailer park shootout in Western Ohio left a Clark County Sheriff's Deputy dead. The shooter, was considered "mental unstable"
The Colorado Theater shooting, which killed 12 people, and injured 58 others, again was by a "mental unstable" person.
Anyone buying a firearm, should be tested for gun safety, and mental stability, before purchase.
