Our nation needs to focus more resources on our troops after returning home. Veteran benefits should not take longer to receive, than it takes to determine war in needed. The cost of war in not just the obvious cost of transportation, personnel, weapons, etc. The cost is felt for a lifetime by the soldier, their family and friends, and everyone in their lives. While this impact on their lives is more obvious in some Veterans, I can't imagine any soldier not being changed in some way by the job they performed for all American citizens.
