Focus on providing safe workplaces that adhere to Human Rights instead of trying to keep people out of our country

Created by N.H. on October 26, 2011

Women in Latin American countries are forced to move to urban areas and other countries in order to find any work at all. Most of the jobs in urban areas are at sweatshops where Labor Laws are not enforced. Lack of education, resources, and a voice results in a cycle poverty.

Many local organizations are struggling to make the changes needed. Americans should focus on educating the women, finding/creating professional and well-paying jobs for them, and end abuse in their current workplaces.

By giving them a life, we give the globe a better economy. By enforcing the rights that everybody deserves, we allow them to stay in their own countries and work on their own domestic problems. We will give them incentive to solve their poverty instead of building walls to keep them out.
