While the argument surrounding immigration today deals with undocumented illegal immigrants who found their way into this country in different ways, there is a growing community of legal, well-documented, tax-paying individuals who contribute to the economy, the country and their immediate community, but are left behind and at the back of the immigration lines, in many cases for years.
We petition the white house to reform immigration laws in such way that "quality", well-documented immigrants will receive the priority they so deserve. This should be in line with the agenda of a country of which its foundations are based on immigration. This country cannot afford rejecting and holding in lines people who wish to help build and develop it but rather focus on those who could care less.
