The "Great Recession" began in 2007 with soft lending practices of large banking institutions. The bubble grew from there and to date there has been no one held accountable for fraudulently misrepresenting the bundling of sub-prime mortgage portfolio equity.
The only winners here seem to be the banks, and on both ends of the crisis. This isn't fair to the U.S. citizen, therefore this should be a priority for your administration to address, Mr. Obama.
Please see to it that these people don't escape justice. Those responsible deserve to be treated as traitors and saboteurs to the U.S. and moreover our global economic security.
If no one is held responsible, the problem will persist.
