This petition is about homelessness and people living below the poverty line, not single women with children but men and women, without children. I have heard they don't have a voice and I want to say they do and should be respected. There are all kind of programs for women and children in regards to removing them from poverty but what about the single men and women trying to remove themselves from an indigent status. According to the Georgia Alliance To End Homelessness, Inc, there are approximately $75,000 individuals experiencing homelessness in Georgia.
The Department of Labor only focus on people that have been laid off. Once they finish the program on how to find a job. They go out and search and there aren't any jobs. We need a program that cater to single indigent people.
