By regulating a national medical marijuana policy, licensed patients who are suffering from illness and disabilities would have access to quality care and medications.
Additionally, this major step forward in individual patient rights and civil liberty would raise hundreds of millions in tax dollars that could directly help fund education, infrastructure, or environmental projects.
Lastly, the drug cartels have been damaging many of our state parks by using them as their personal, hidden farms. They use damaging fertilizing chemicals and pass this to the street consumer and our environment. This program would be a major blow to their powerful marijuana industry, their ongoing corruption, and violent intimidation.
